mountain songs is a sound and video project centered around the 4 sacred peaks of the Navajo people in the southwestern united states. the drawing above is a gps generated map of my driving route, which saw me across nearly 2000 miles in 5 days. seismic data and video was captured at each of the 4 peaks for 60 minutes at sunrise. the seismic data was converted into audio, the sounds you hear are in essence, mountains songs. click map locations for video.
